Thinking of Popping the Question? 50 Ideas on how to Propose!

Following our recent 20 Creative but very romantic ways to propose, we thought we’d extend the list a little further with an additional 50 ideas! Proposing to your girlfriend can be extremely difficult and stressful, but if you plan in advance and keep her personality, taste and style in mind, you can turn it into an unforgettable event! Location also plays a key role, depending on you and your partner. We’ve put together a list for you on 50 great ways you can choose from while popping the question:

1.      Old fashioned ways never go out of style. To propose in the traditional style which appeals greatly to a lot of women, get down on one knee with a rose clenched between your teeth and the precious ring in your hand. Go on to confess your undying love and devotion!

2.      Place a bouquet of flowers outside her doorstep and write the letters “Will you marry me (name)” in capital letters with Chalk outside of her house or apartment.

3.      This one is equally as romantic though you will need some planning in advance. Take your date to the Theatres and after the final curtain get up on stage and pop the question. You’ll have to plan it out with the stage manager before hand.

4.      If you are the really jittery kinds and absolutely terrified to ask her personally, this one may be the way for you. Very cute and romantic this may be a little time consuming though. Create a web page about the two of you together. You can put in photographs, quotes, love notes, places you’ve been together etc.. Be creative!!Also include the one question that‘s on your mind and send her the web address and wait on her reply! If she accepts you can easily mail it to your friends and family!

5.      Wake up extra early and prepare her favorite breakfast. Decorate the breakfast tray with red roses and throw in a small card. Kiss and wake her up and declare your love. Make sure to keep the ring in your pocket!!

6.      Give her a nice foot massage and after you are done, quietly place the ring on her toe while asking her at the same time!! This will really take her by surprise and it’s a cute way to propose!

7.      Take a bottle of Champaign and blindfold your date telling her you’ve arranged something special. Open her blindfold at the place where you both first met and pop the question!

37.  Here’s one for you Scrabble players! If you both are scrabble fans you can invite her for a game. Arrange the tiles in advance to spell the words “You complete me.. Marry Me”!!

38.  If your date loves dancing, arrange to take her for a night out dancing. Make prior arrangements with the band to hand you the mic for a few minutes. Then when she is happily ballroom dancing with you, take the mic and propose in front of the whole crowd!
