Paying For Dates

Some blokes believe that by paying for a girl, they’re losing power while others feel they need to impress her by taking her on a spending spree. Both perspectives are nonsensical.

Here’s all you ever need to know when it comes to money and dates:

  • Don’t try to impress her with money
  • Don’t let the bill cause any awkwardness

It’s really as simple as that. Here’s the underlying policy:

If your first date with a girl involves something really expensive, she might feel this is a bit too much. She might wonder whether you’re so lonely or that you’re going all out for a girl you don’t really know that well and money is all you’ve got going for you. She might be nervous that splashing out on her makes you entitled to have sex with her.

Social awkwardness affects girls emotionally in such a way it’s incomprehensible to most blokes. As you’ve got no idea about her expectations, you’re best off assuming you are going to foot the bill and planning accordingly.

The additional bonus of this is that you can appear to be taking care of her which, if done properly, should make her see you as dominant rather than wasteful.

Again we ain’t talking about nothing extortionate.

It’s about your attitude. Never draw attention to money or act like it’s such a big deal, though it actually is! If you ain’t got loads of sponds, then plan dates which don’t require much money. Really simple.

Is your partner cheating?

I pay for the dates every time, especially if I was the one who ask her out.
