10 Quick Tips For Picking Up A Girl In A Supermarket

How many times have you been in a supermarket, seen a girl you would love to date and walked out of the shop with nothing but your shopping? If this sounds like you, read on.

I’m here to give you 10 quick tips for picking up a girl while out and about doing your shopping so hopefully the next time you leave the supermarket, you’ll have more than your ready meals for one!

Tip 1 - Using Body Language

Use your body language to show your interest when you lock eyes on the girl of you dreams. Most girls notice and like a sexy smile and warm eyes will go a long way. If she returns the smile, it’s time to make the next step. Check out our guide on Attraction that goes into this a little further.

Tip 2 - First Impressions

Don’t be overpowering or too rash, take your time and keep calm even if she’s got your heart racing. You only get one chance at a first impression so take the time to get it right. If it works out she will always remember the first time you met her.

Tip 3 - Assess The Situation

Pick your moment. It’s not a good idea to try and rush in on her. Assess the situation, try and find a good excuse to make contact with her, ie: is she trying to reach for something that you may be able to get for her? Or maybe you can recommend something that she is thinking of buying.

Tip 4 - Keep It Genuine

Forget the cheesy one liners as they don’t work and most girls have already heard one or two, maybe even a few, so if they haven’t worked for the other guys why will you be any different? Girls prefer genuine comments and your body language will tell her whether you are being genuine or not.

Tip 5 - Paying Compliments

If you have the confidence, try making a compliment. Everyone loves to receive a genuine compliment as it make us feel good. Keep it honest though by saying something about why you like her or what it is that is attracting you. ie: beautiful eyes, face of an angel and so on. Tip 6 - Watch What You Say

Don’t be too honest! Don’t say things like, you wanted to say hello because she has a great pair of boobs that you’d like to grope or that she has the longest pair of legs you’d like wrapped around your naked body. If you come out with comments like these, she may well smile or even laugh but as she walks away from you ( without giving you her number) she’s probably thinking to herself “IDIOT” !!

Tip 7 - Don’t Forget To Ask

Don’t miss your chance, you’ve got nothing to lose and everything to gain. The worst that can happen is that she says no but at least asked! Tell her why you’d like to have her number ie: You’d like to take her out for a drink or dinner, maybe an up coming party, perhaps you’d just like to get to know her. It’s good to give her another reason to give you her number.

Tip 8 - If At First You Don’t Succeed

Don’t fall down at the first hurdle, if she says no it may be that she doesn’t want to give her number to a stranger. After all she doesn’t know what a nice guy you are. Girls do have to be more careful nowadays and not all guys are trustworthy. If she declines, offer to give her your number along with a joke, such as “I’m glad you said no, it shows me what type of lady you are. Here take mine and I’ll leave the ball in your court” She might surprise you and be keen to get it.

Tip 9 - Don’t Make Her Wait

Make sure you call her after going to the trouble of getting her number, don’t get cold feet now you have it. She could be waiting for you to ring and she might be as keen on you as you are on her. If you don’t call her you may be missing out on a good thing and as the saying goes it’s better to regret something you’ve done rather that something you haven’t.

Tip 10 - Pre Plan

If you don’t carry a mobile phone with you, make sure you have something at hand to write her number on, don’t assume she will have a pen and paper in her bag. Don’t get a little black book though as it gives the wrong impression. Also whatever you do, always take the number out when you get home as you don’t want it getting washed with your jeans as you don’t want all that hard work washed away!
